    Slabopotamus, much envies on the redears, I haven’t caught one yet fishing lake mead and the many ponds Clark county Nevada (don’t believe we’re stocked with them). However although I don’t target them per se common carps are a plenty in lake mead and in some local ponds…

    Larger ones are shy but these dinks go after the Float-n- fly rig like they are panfish…lol.

    Those come from the Cumberland? I'm in Christiana. I go to Normandy, Woods, Nickajack mostly. Started fishing the Cumberland recently. Really enjoy the river fishing.

    Nice catch. I am assuming you caught those on Old Hickory. Not a lot of folks know but that place is full of shell cracker. I fished that lake a lot in the 60’s.

    Those are some fine looking redear your catching. Those carp and cats are no pushovers either, especially on lighter gear.
