really soft little peck in 14 foot of water about 12 feet down , then the line slacks just a touch , set the hook as I am sure its a soft summer crappie bite on a large plastic .
the spins begins and round and round we go .....

Speaking of the crappie let me tell ya they are liiiiightly taking the jig right now and the absolute heaviest you want to use is a 1/32...... Be careful cause you'll miss them if you're not paying really close attention.....

Nice catch! It's that time of year. I had light bites last night, even when I was using live shad for bait.
