    Go to the main crappie forum and identify what that SLAB fishee is Slab ketched on his birthday, it looks like a hen fish of some sort and really large .
    what say yawl fish id professionals ??

    I'm no professional but it looks to me like a female shell cracker mixed. I see these a lot in the waters I fish. It also seems as each year passes more mixing goes on with the sunfish nation.

Size:  95.8 KB I got into some nice brim last weekend, bite slowed so I moved 20 yards. Got into some shell crackers including this one with no red ears. Took pic of it with a nice copper nose brim. Slabs fish looks like this one. I have caught others with no red ears like this one but not too many. I think I fish at least 40 miles north of him.
