I'm no professional but it looks to me like a female shell cracker mixed. I see these a lot in the waters I fish. It also seems as each year passes more mixing goes on with the sunfish nation.

Go to the main crappie forum and identify what that SLAB fishee is Slab ketched on his birthday, it looks like a hen fish of some sort and really large .

I got into some nice brim last weekend, bite slowed so I moved 20 yards. Got into some shell crackers including this one with no red ears. Took pic of it with a nice copper nose brim. Slabs fish looks like this one. I have caught others with no red ears like this one but not too many. I think I fish at least 40 miles north of him.
I’m no expert but I took a guess that it’s a gilcracker
