These two weeks off just went way too fast, I don’t know where the time went. Unfortunately my little girl didn’t want to fish, but I did make it to the pond a few times myself.

I didn’t get much time today, but made the short trek this afternoon. The action was pretty much nonstop, the last 10 minutes things slowed down.

We had winds in the low 20s today, so I just casted the TM about eight feet from shore and let the wind move it like a river current.

I was immediately greeted by a small LMB, followed by various panfish.

Size: 59.0 KBI was using my new pflueger trion combo, other than the rod only being 5’ I’m happy with it. Would have gotten something a little nicer if anything was in stock.

Perhaps my little girl will want to take the Paw Patrol rod out tomorrow.

Nice outing. I like high numbers. Reminds me of a mayfly hatch I got in on once.

Not quite that extravagant, just what they call a “premium lot” that has a small fee over a regular house here in a large HOA. I’m blessed to have three ponds within a 10 minute walk, and two more that I haven’t tried yet. Over 1000 homes has a few advantages, mainly that a small HOA fee goes aa longway when you have this many rresidents This is one of the smaller pans, but I’ve had some of my best luck here there.

We have had about 6 inches of rain over the last few days, I went back to see evening hoping to catch an hour before sunset. It started to rain within a few minutes, but I did catch eight fishing within 15 minutesName: IMG_9874.jpg

I usually stand in the spillway, but you can see how high the water has risen. About 6 feet out near the rocks is the money spot.

One guy of size and one with some beauty as illustrated by the attached pictures.

Love this new ULW setup, although I’m going to seek a longer rod. I’m also a big fan of the Trout Magnet float that I just switched to, I swear it enhances the experience. Name: IMG_9883.jpg

Seems there are more and more of these ponds in newer developments and many hold some nice fish. Sounds like you are in a good location!

Got another 40 minutes in last night, had to run some errands so I threw a rod in my truck. The 10 minutes of not having to walk to the pond was critical such a short timeframe.

Caught about 15, one of them was somewhat sizable.

I caught one that I thought was a goldfish it was such a pure orange. Unfortunately I dropped it as I was getting my phone
