I think it’s an upgrade.
I “upgraded” to a Micro Series last year, and would like something just a little nicer. I have held some of the higher end stuff, it it just feels like there’s a big quality difference.
If I spent $100 on some like this - decent upgrade?
Site Maintenance
Most of my fishing is at night after the kids go to bed with a worm and bobber, when time allows I love getting out during the day with a trout Magnet.

A lighter weight rod
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
i had one of those its a sweet little rod i had a 6'6" medium. the ultralight was too much of a limp noodle for me
I’ve handled them and like them fine. My choice when setting it up on the choices was 6’6” light action with a 25 series reel. My thought is that this would handle floats and such when bank fishing. Whichever you go with, I believe you’ll be pleased.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
I hear good things about Falcon rods. You could pair these together:
Falcon BuCoo SR Spinning Rod | Academy
Daiwa REVROS LT Spinning Reel | Academy
I have that reel and it is very smooth for the money. In fact I have the USDM version here and a JDM high gear ratio version also.
Pflueger has no business making rods. Buy the reel. Shop else where for the rod. My 2cents.

I have a 7 ft lite action too stiff for me and not very sensitive
Ultra lights that are marked for 1/32-1/4 and those marked 1/16-1/4 are two different rods . I bought one from locater 79 that I really like and one that I gave away . Both were stamped ultra lights and made by browning ."Airstream ". Unless you going JDM or big time I like the Okuma Cellio in a 6'6" ultralight )with a Pflueger 6925 . This set up is about $80.00 . jmo
