Default Started to be a great day

As soon as we got on the water the gills were agressive. We caught around (9) 9-10.5" fish at the first place we stopped. Then it happened. The calm day became a 17 mph wind, the temp dropped about 8° and the rain clouds moved in. It never rained but the fish disappeared totally. The next 3 hrs was a total loss.Name: 20210611_172746.jpg

The change sure put them down. Funny thing is that it could go the other way. Anyway, you got out on the water.

I didn't expect this. My partner used crappie magnets and I used trout magnets. He caught more and bigger gills than me. They must prefer larger bait.

If your seeing larger minnows in a lake, go bigger. If you start seeing smaller ones, then use smaller baits. The thing that would make this not work, is if there are hatches going on, then either might work. Always look at the shoreline to know.
