    Default new moon bream pics

April full moon and the May new moon found the bream hanging near the beds. Water temp in this lake is still only 68F, and there is another cool spell going on, so the main spawn has not happened yet - but it is coming. This full moon should be some even better fishing. Last Monday, I caught over 50 large bluegill, shellcracker, and a few redbreast. I was using wigglers on a 1/32 jig head, and also a Trout Magnet in "root beer float" color, tipped with a piece of Power Wiggler on a 1 gram head like Randy (Alphahawk) uses. Abu Slow Taper Special JDM rod, with 5 lb test Twitch Master mono. I plan to go again later today, mostly to cruise around with side imaging and look for more beds. Here are some pictures:

Those are some very healthy fish, looks like you've found a honey hole! I wish I could find some beds with Gills that large, I wouldn't fish for anything else...

Good pics of the beds and the fish too. I would also fish for nothing else when I know where they’re holding. Thanks for the share.
