    Default Redbreast City!

Started out slow today but then hit the pot of gold! Found a massive bed of redbreast sunfish. All fish caught using an Abu Garcia Diplomat Extreme 6’ 2” UL Area Trout Rod strung up with 1.8# test polyester line with a 4 foot section of 2# test Phantom FC leader. The lure was a Bison colored Trout Magnet on a 1.5 gram jig head. Most fish were 8-9.5 inches long. These fish had beautiful colors. Redbreast are awesome fighters....fight much harder than bluegill. Hope I can hit it again in the morning…life is good and getting better!

    Regards

I love catching those wading the river. They always put a good bend in the rod. Congrats on the catch!

Good job Randy, I haven’t caught that many of them in a long time and never all that big. Excellent catch!
