Improved Clinch knot for hooks and non slip loop knot (Kreh) for jigs.
I will say that I used the clinch and improved clinch and, for me, it was a knot that moved a small amount when put to a hard task. That said, I had to leave a noticeable tag for it to stay put. This and my ocd didn’t get along and I went to the speed knot I posted about earlier. I now get no knot problems or lost baits and a pigs tail on the end of the line.
I tend to agree.

I need to be able to tie a knot on a boat, in a hurry, without looking for my glasses first.
The Richard Gene version on the loop knot which is in fact a Surgeons knot works for me.
Thank you all for your input. I mostly use the improved clinch knot on jig head and hook. Fish mostly 6lb mono with ultra lite gear for all panfish and SMB.
I see a lot using loop knots on their jig heads and will give it a shot.
Pie, you’ll find that there’s more action and less hang ups with the loop. Well worth the learning curve.
loop know only for panfish on jigs and hooks as well for me
nothing ties faster or easier or presents the bait better
not sure how someone could say its difficult to tie
watch my first ever video on how to tie it on youtube
its a 30 seconds max with old eyes knot that will outperform the rest by a country mile
AND no i didnt get paid to say that it either :Rofl
Hey Ketch, I think you’re using the non slip mono? Inquiring mind and all that...
Bob
FWIW, this is the aforementioned speed knot...
