Jeez, MR. A crummy day camera wise! Sorry to read that. A good day on the water fish wise. I’m hoping tomorrow but Monday/Tuesday sure.

Cold and damp. Barely made it to 50 today, tried a few lures w/not a bump. Did do well with the 1" paddle-tails about 3-4ft. under a float. Camera went in the lake when I bent over to release that crappie, so not many pics. Card and battery ok but camera is done for. Did not make sure velcro closure on belt case was closed. Hope to find same model used next week. Sorry, that 2nd crappie picture put on in error & don't know how to remove.

Nice fish and sorry about the camera, that hurts. And that second crappie pic is cool with me, he’s kinda pretty. And if you don’t mind me asking the color slider you use. I have a black and chartreuse and not much confidence in em, though I do like em.

Skeet,
For what it's worth, in the 1" I have solid black, solid green pumpkin and chartreuse/orange. Have caught fish on all, but don't use sliders all the time. I just like using different baits to see what they want on that day and go with it. I'm sure the guys that use similar plastics all the time have a short list. I know from some of your posts, you like rooster tails.(So do I) I started with a black 1/32oz. one yesterday and they just would not touch it. Usually not the case!
Just have to chalk it up to lesson learned with the camera. But it sure seems, the older you get the more it happens.
Well, at least it wasn't your cell phone. I did that a few years ago. Not a good day. Glad you caught some nice fish though.

I caught them yesterday on sliders as well. June bug/chartreuse worked best for me. Caught a bunch of small gills l,couple small bass and 4 channel cats. Caught 4 more cats and several gills on red worms. But they were actually hitting the sliders better than worms. I love sliders personally.

Have bunch of CB sliders but don't cast them much, mostly use them when right over thick brush and know they are in there.

Moon, I tried my fav rooster in silver/white a while back where it got hammered last year. Got zip. Picked up a jig rod and game on. Go figure.
