    Default Aquarium quality water

Not my thing for sure , the vegetation that occurs with that much light penetration is a mess. First spot ,one take and lost it . My wife and daughter were trying ,but the 2 Ag lakes were going to be tricky it seemed .
Went to lake 2 to see if we could possibly avoid the no fish situation . Wife was jumpy as she walked up on a water python that was as jumpy as her ....
Next spot was a jungle and a disaster with 3 of us elbow to elbow in a deadfall . The good news is first cast the kiddo's float went down the second it hit the water !
She battled it into the shore and as it came in I noticed a quality submarine following it . Sure enough that big ole bass sat there at our feet just watching us with that bluegill !
It was really cool to see it up so close in that gin clear water and it seamed somewhat fearless .
It never spooked and eventually went off on its way . A few casts later a bass and I would tend to think maybe the fish we saw just SMASHED my wife's float !
So on we went hammering away until we tired of the action . Was a great afternoon to get out with very mild temperatures and bright sunshine .
All fish were released and a few were hybrids and some were bluegills .

in that vegetation and the mats of it , it would take a big heavy rod with braid to land a bruiser like that .
pretty glad we didn't actually hook it on what we had with us ....
i know he had his eyes locked down like a hawk on that bluegill i was holding though
