    Default One lucky Gill...

Here's some pic's from the last 2 days. Only fished mid-day and had hit and miss action. Tried a variety of artificials, no standouts. Temps. hot but the water is still pretty cold. Happy just being out there.Name: DSC00520.jpg

Oh. and that one lucky gill. Check out the dorsal fin on the gill in the last pic. Seems he must have had a run in with a snapper (my guess) previously. Healed up nicely.

Nice fish! Yes, that last guy had a near miss! I have a 309 out in the garage somewhere. Loved you could get a left hand reel back in the day. I broke the ice yesterday with two so now the fun starts to ramp up!

All of those are nice. Did you release or eat them?

    S10,

They were all released to catch again. See others taking them to eat from there and not being a large piece of water, I feel better leaving them. Thanks.
