Default Hoping to catch a few Shell crackers - found one

Size: 292.8 KBI had a cup of grass shrimp and was looking for Shell Crackers but got on some nice fat brim instead. I did catch one Shell cracker and 4 specks, threw back 3 non gut hooked specks. The catfish was fun on the 10ft cane pole, caught several mudfish and gars too. A boat about 30 yards from me caught about 15 shell crackers so I just missed getting on them. I could have moved but I was enjoying the good brim where I was at, The pads were bumping all morning. I threw back 8 smaller brim and called it a day once it got warm/hot. Got home and after a short nap I filleted the fish, 2 of the brim had roe.

It was a good morning but they were not real eager to bite. But I stayed on them. These fish were fat so the fillets were thick. We fried some in coconut oil last night, rolled in fine corn meal..
