Double uni for me. Easy for me to tie and works well.
I switch it up and use the uni to uni and a lot of times a blood knot. I tend to tie blood knots faster from tying so many fly fishing leaders.
Interestingly true Yobuck, BUT any line to line knot does have a very important issue. Although the percentage of line strength @the knot will NEVER be 100%, depending on the amount of line added, eventually, you will DREAD the famous "abbreviated cast"!:banghead This occurs with time/reties etc. when you encounter the "curb" within the spool caused by your "joint" that will shorten your cast. Large(more so) or small knots, even WITH close-cut, trimmed ends WILL cause this! What I do to "cure" this is to put a small piece of tape(electrical's fine) over the knot and voila "No mas"(quoting Roberto Duran{11-25-80}:Rofl):twocents:ThumbsUpAttachment 396901

Interesting idea. Never thought of that one. Thanks!

I use the albright knot to go from braid to mono.
Never had a problem with uni to uni knot or uni to lure. I moisten the line like for any slip knot and do four turns through the loop.
Works just as well adding a fluorocarbon leader to light braid as with mono to mono connections.
