I was really hoping to get some time at the pond on this birthday weekend, and it was in the high 40s today.
Unfortunately life got in the way, and I was only able to sneak out for 30 minutes.

58 today, sun sets at six. Thought I would go get about 90 minutes in after work, but I forgot that I told my wife I will go to swim lessons. Got another 30 minutes in, fourfish with one putting up a nice fight.

41 tonight, but I wanted round two! Another four pack, two gut hooks, and a fatality. That lighted bobber comes with a price. I did get what I think is a PR for that pond. Not the fight you’d expect, but you felt the weight those last few cranks.
