That’s a good trip Chaser, and some great pics. I went Sunday and caught 4 and considered that a good enough trip. Hadn’t been there in many months. The triumphs cousin, the premier, has a 66lf model in one piece that is very sweet and came to mind as I read your post. Been on my want list for a long time. I have so many now blah, blah, blah. I know that LMB gave you a time. Thanks for sharing with us, I enjoyed.

Skeet , I have five of the 6’6” St Croix lights , two Premiers (2 piece) 2 Triumphs (1piece) , and a two piece Triumph . They’re probably my favorite rods . I bought the Premiers when Dick’s Sporting goods had them on clearance a few years back . Think I paid $40 each for them .
St Croix has recently redone the Triumphs and I’ve ordered a one piece 6’6” Triumph . I’m sure it’ll probably feel the same as my others , but I couldn’t resist .
I have a one piece 6’ Avid UL that’s a sweet rod , I’d like to have an Avid in a 6’6” light . It would be a tad lighter than the Premiers and the Triumphs .
Guess you can tell I’m a St Croix fan .
Thanks skeetbum thanked you for this post

    gillchaser,
I'm with you on the St. Croix's. Have six Premiers for panfish 4 1/2-6ft. all ultralites. I have a soft spot for the vintage gear, but if using something a little newer, thats what I grab.
    Nice pics.
