    Skip,
It's a Quick microlite. About the same size as a Mitchell 308, all from around the same era as the 300's. Those old reels were built to last generations and I and others really enjoy using them. Hope you find a nice 300.

By the way, I see you are just down the road from me.

You can find 300 pretty easily on eBay. If you are willing to disassemble, clean and lube, you won't need to pay much. Be sure to get one that is complete and working. Otherwise, you'll be looking for parts. Fortunately, there are many parts available for the 300. Here is a 300 a restored this past spring. Paired it with a period correct Garcia rod.

These winter gills are tough! Struck out Friday on gulp 1" minnows, but managed to grab a few crawlers last night for today. Best I could do was these two. You can see there isn't much color left in these fish in western Pa. Anyone having any success in the colder areas?Name: DSC00385.jpg
