    Congrats on the catching, it was nice on Sunday. But now we have snow, and could get 12 inches here, by tomorrow. But we do have at least between 4 to 5 right now.

    We are supposed to get 3-6 inches from the storm down this way and the wind chills are in the teens now. Sunday may have been it for this year. Glad I was able to catch a few . Thanks.

    we hit freezing the other day at night and a possible high in the 40z tomorrow
    the bluegill have all but went away for the coast i think , migrated to warm sunny beaches possibly .
    but to be sure like you stated the crappie have gone right off the charts on the hammer the jig like you mean it thing .
    looks like a great trip to me , love me some panfish fun for sure

    Do the crappie usually bite better in the winter than the bluegill?

    Moonrunner, we got over a foot of snow. Wife stepped into the yard, and it went over her boots, that are a foot high.
