    Default Moonrunner Insprired Shots

Hit the backyard pond yesterday afternoon and caught a bunch of smaller gills and a couple decent sized crappie. Happen to have a nearby piece of deadfall and tried to take some Moonrunner type photos. Not as good as his but fun to try.

Those look great! Wish I was a little further south right now, windchills in the 20's tonight. Fishing like that in your backyard, doesn't get much better than that.

Agreed, right in your backyard? Doesn’t get much better than that!

Some nice backyard fish , I agree. I’m patiently waiting for the river to go down so the fish are in the river and not the flooded woods. Like the staging in the pics, works for me.

Lucky to live on a 5 acre pond. About 10-12 other houses on it. I've caught large gills in years past. Not sure what's happened to them. This year has been mostly dinks. Still lots of fun on the ultralight.

Seventy degree highs in recent days and continuing through the weekend. Gonna do some fishing. Haven't put a line in the water all week!
