I usually do well with the darker colors like the red/black and the rootbeer (brown). But in some lakes I do well on the mealworm (gold) or all white.
This among plus 50 others shapes, actions and colors can always be depended on:
... key being the straight thin tail which flutters no matter how still you hold the rod.
