Default Drop and Reel Bluegill Fishing

Went to this lesser known lake near my house that I've only been to once before. It has very thick grasses all around the shoreline which makes fishing impossible. Thankfully it also have these two docks/piers which provide a few spots to get a line in the water comfortably. I started the day dropping a Trout Magnet down along the grass line in what looked like 6-8 feet of clear water. Hooked up with a medium sized bluegill on my first cast and it was near non-stop action for the next 15-20 minutes. However, as good as the action was at the start, after the storm that was overhead passed through the action died off. I had to work hard for the next hour or so to pick up one final fish, a largemouth bass. All things considered it was a great way to spend an hour and a half on a weekday afternoon.
