I've heard stories about how one must always cover the tip of your hook with bait or you'll catch less fish. But apparently the fish have no concept of those big treble hooks hanging off a crankbaits... Lol

I think this is true of any spinner bait. Some say it looks like fleeing bait fish. Could be but it's a lot of metal in the water. In any event, as long as fish bite, I'll keep throwing it.

Good job. Love throwing the beetle spin any time. You never know what’s going to hit it.

I've caught countless bluegill on beetle spins using ultralight spinning tackle. No clue why they take it, but they do...consistently. Recently got me some Atomic tube lures to try. Heard they work pretty good. I'm willing to expand my horizons. But beetle spins...they are the benchmark.

i think spinner baits , beetle spins included and even road runner type baits often look like a small group of baitfish together to a predator .
not totally sure about that concept but i think that might be part of the attraction .

Could be Ketch. I don't care what the motivation as long as they keep striking what's in the bag.
