Good stuff! Alway fun to see experimentation and new lure. Thanks.
As many on crappie.com know my obsession with composite lure creations, this one was discovered this year and has done well for all panfish species.
Even this small bass got into the act:
This one was made using a curl tail attached at the top of the curve to a grub body:
This mini-claws did fine the first time I tried it:
Color and body shape I found is optional though claw size seems to make a difference at times. A 1/24 oz jig seemed the best fit along with a slow and unsteady retrieve mid depth - essential - along with rod tip twitches along the way to make the claw tips quiver. Thank goodness for fish hypersenses and sensitivity to detail!

Nice looking bait, and thanks for retrieve tips. That retrieve tip can work for a lot of baits.

Very good indeed!
I'm not one for jigging off bottom, but yesterday was an eye opener in 7'! It's great when fish are suspended off bottom and a horizontal retrieve get the strikes. But late afternoon in a particular spot, jigging a 1/24 and 1/16 oz jig/lure on bottom got savage strikes from crappie and perch whereas I couldn't buy a strike as I did a week ago horizontally. Next is to use a float with the line long enough to put the lure just off bottom and creep the rig towards the boat with pauses. Worked in the past (though I can't remember when)!
