    Default Morning Session

I hadn't done any morning fishing in a long while. So, I thought with the cooling weather and the full moon, I would get out there.

    Full Moon the previous evening.

There was a slight overcast and a light east/southeast wind. I was rewarded with a bunch of beautiful gills. The fall colors are amazing. Here's a sample.

A Shellcracker snuck in there too!

I finally had to wrap it up and go to work. But it was a good way to start the day!

Looks like you are using worms and a bobber, that is my exclusive set up. Are you simply casting and waiting?

Pretty fish. I haven’t been able to get out early in the morning for 5 years......since I moved to present house. I miss it.

Morning fishing is always fun. We’re starting to get some chilly mornings here in the NE so PM fishing is working out a little better.

It was in the high 50s. With the wind, it's felt a bit cool! In a month or two, these conditions will be a welcome warm break!
