Default Beetle Spin still gettin 'em!

Replied to Fishfishwish that I would grab some for the next trip out. Plenty of action today. Funny how the Green sunfish/Bluegill hybrids only wanted poppers again.Name: DSC00209.jpg

Great fish pics framed on the different logs. About time to start bank fishing here as well.

Very nice. Those are some nice fish with the vintage set ups! I've never tried poppers. How far can you cast them?

In order to cast without fly rod here is what works for me. Strike indicators are 1" and very hard foam which gives them weight for distance. Float is 2" and good for longer distance. I attach either indicator or float 3-4 ft. above popper and a Raven micro swivel above all to eliminate line twist. Can use for dry and wet flies also.
