    Default Mule Jigs

Been trying a new little jig called The Mule jig. It's 1/64oz thin wire hook, and it has a wire keeper built-in. I must say the wire keeper really does keep the Trout Magnet plastic in place.

Any chance you could show a trout magnet rigged up on one?

I was curious about those jigs as I'd seen that style recently on a website somewhere. Not sure if it was that brand or not, but definitely the same style "keeper", which is what caught my eye.

Thanks for info, and for sharing.

No, I don't have a camera, but the guy who makes them has his own fishing youtube channel.

Yeah, they're kinda expensive, but nobody make a 1/64 oz jig with a wire keeper.

Actually, I order some of those wire keepers ... thanks, and I have been using them on my Daiwa Gekkabijin 1.5 g jigs with a beetle spinner.I've just been too lazy to put them on 1/64 oz jigs...Lol.

On the smaller hooks I cut the keeper wire in half to get to be in the right place on the hook shaft. You probably do that too. Enjoy your threads.

Hey Tom, what did you use to attach the keeper? It looks like black tape?
    thx
