Default set a new personal record with the trout magnet

made a spur of the moment trip last friday after a torrential downpour. too wet to mow had to do something. i grabbed my 6-9 lunakia, and 6-7 fintail banshee. bulldog on one bison on the other. was just using the basic trout magnet jig 1/64. got to the lake and three cast equaled three substantial bluegill then it backed off to maybe every other cast. my bison magnet was getting a bit ragged and i looked down to find i left the tackle box at home. in 40 years of fishing i have never left my tackle box. shades, hat, bug spray yes. tackle box never. well the moral to the story is that it is possible to catch 75 bluegill with two trout magnets. i didn't have my phone on me so no pics but needless to say both baits were looking pretty pitiful when i quit.

    No pics = didn't happen.

Those TM on the right jig can last a long time. Congrats!

i been trying to mimic a trout magnet with a hand tie. i know that'll hold up better and ive got some pretty close but not quite what im looking for yet.
