    Default Rainy Evenings

Hit the water despite some rain the last few evenings. Gave the vintage gear a rest and broke out the modern gear: a Diawa Presso and Okuma Celilo with Legalis and Carbon-X reels respectively. These are quite a different feel from the older rigs (lighter, more nimble feeling and more sensitive). Same type gill and shell cracker action and kept me on my toes using the 3# braid on the Presso and the 2# poly on the Celilo. The fish didn't know the difference though!

Awesome catch rain or not! I feel the same way when switching from Fin Nor Ahab 1000 boat anchor to the Daiwa 13 certate 1003 and all of a sudden a 5" gill felt like giant..lol

I'd send ya some, if I could. Tons of rain here in the past few weeks, including a tropical storm.
