I have fished with many brands of poles over the years. Some designed for a lot bigger and smaller fish than was caught. From a 5'6" to a 12' big water ugly stick. If that's what you got on hand and it works, it's all good. Food looks fantastic. Congrats.

i just wanted to take a moment to remind everyone that ketchn sunfish can be as cheap and simple or as expensive and complicated as your heart desires.
a really fine pc. of angling equipment in ones hand is a pleasure no doubt , but to be just as sure a cheap set up in a child's hand is just as much of a pleasure .....IF you ketchn some fish with it
