    Default Small lighted bobber

Any recommendations? I've been using a Robby Bobby all summer, but I think the large size may be contributing to a lot of gut hooks. It does take quite a bit to sink it, so I'd like to find a smaller one.

Didn't see anything the last few times I've been to the store.

Google told me to try using some jig hooks, so I will try that as well.

Bingo! On the plus side, if you fall out of the boat, you can hold onto the bobber to keep you afloat.

Get a thin Thill instead and buy some of the "glow in the dark" sticks to fix to the float bristle.

Yeah those floats are pretty good size... you could use the mr crappie ones... they have a hole to put the glow stick in and I have had good luck with them...

Sounds like we’ve identified the culprit. Is the only downside to the glo sticks that it basically costs $1.50 a night to go fishing? Money well Spent, but I do go a couple nights a week.

You could also get some fluorescent paint and paint the tips.

Glow sticks pretty much... I also use blue fox lighted floats but they are extremely hard to find...

Agree with BDB, and your going to need a flashlight anyway, so shine it on the float, waiting for the bite.
