They made one of my favorite river locations a real challenge , they installed a new cross beam support on the columns . It is going to be difficult to use a fixed float at the right depth by the columns now for sure .
I tried to no avail and settled for a few small bream by the bank , the crappie would not get with the new program down there AT ALL darnit !
might have to try a slip float as much as I don't want to .....

If ya gotta use a slip float - whatever gets the job done. Nice looking pans. As an aside, if they had to go with a cross beam to support the bridge, it kinda make you wonder if you want to use it. Just sayin...

imagine most of the usa moving to your state and the amount of traffic a road might get that wasn't likely intended to have when it was built , the amount of people moving into the dfw area is beyond comprehension . sometimes when i stop at a large intersection i am the ONLY texas license plate in the crowd . i can often count as many as 6 different states or more at one stop light
