Bass Buster Lures developed and sold the first Beetle Spin. It was preceded by the Beetle, which was fished more Neg rig like than Beetle Spin like.

This is not to be confused with the Beetle Bug lure that dates to the 1930s.

Johnson makes the Beetle Spin these days.

I know H&H has been making the Sparkle Beetle for at least 50 years,it's a sure thing for catching speckled trout in saltwater.

No sir. It is almost a copy of the Johnson beetle spin body brought out many years ago and still sold today.
