When changing a TM I give it a shot of liquid scent, and after I catch the first fish I don’t bother again. I don’t think of it as much an attractant but as a way to mask any odors from manufacture to anything on my fingers. Do liquids attract or mask? This is a discussion that could probably last for days! LOL

I totally agree Bob. I have seen this many times in my life in fishing. I usually start fishing my bait, usually a jig of my own making. Sometimes I catch and sometimes not. If no bites I then apply liquid scent or a very small piece of gulp product. What I have found is that many times I start catching fish from the place where they would not bite. Just look at the bass fishing world. Many bass lures used for slow presentations are scented products. Bass and bluegill are members of the same biological family (sunfish).
