Yeah, Roger that. I don't even see them listed on walmart's site anymore (that I could find anyway). Sure hope they plan on carrying them again once supply is able to catch back up with demand.

In late June, I was able to get a 6 foot bait caster UL in the Micro Series on Amazon. Paired it with a Diawa MiniCast 40 for a super light spincaster setup. Supposedly, I bought it for the wife.

Ebay has them, but it looks like they jacked the price up to $32.99

Yeah I saw those. Looks like that seller did for sure. I'm not a tight wad, but I refuse to patronize a business that is trying to price gouge people during what are already hard times for most folks. I won't play into their games. I have other rods, I can wait the crazyness out if need be.

    Go directly to Shakespeare
Micro Series Spinning Rod | Shakespeare(R)
Like everybody else they are out of stock now, claiming Available on 08/30/2020.
I expect nobody else will be restocked before Shakespeare is. Standard price still less than $20.00, too, before shipping and tax of course. This line of rods is so much better than the Ugly Sticks, much lighter and easier and just plain more fun.
About as high of a quality for the price point as you can find.

Thanks. Yes, I've been keeping a check with them as well. In fact I sent them an email on wed. which they acknowledged receiving but haven't answered. Sad part is, I've probaby overlooked these rods countless times in walmart before, based solely on their cost, and not realizing they were a decent rod . Ah, live and learn still I guess!

I've been hearing folks in various parts of the country saying that, but evidently there are none at our local Walmarts or on their website, that I can find anyway.

My Wally looked like a ghost town for fishin rods. Mostly empty. Hope folks remember to take care of where they’re fishin now that everyone’s going.
