Default Looking for some smaller top water baits

I am looking for some top water suggestions for spinning reel. I have the rebel crick hopper and some 1 1/2” rapala poppers. Anyone have any suggestions of 2” and smaller top waters you like to throw? Didn’t have much luck locating anything JDM??? What do you guys use?

I think there's a UL version of the Rebel Pop-R.

Personally, I use a fly rod for topwater.

Rebel makes some super small baits with a fixed single hook. They are called micro critters. One is the micro Pop-R. They are the smallest I have found.

Panfish poppers with spinning gear is easy. Nothing special but works. See last pic. Strike indicators are 1" and very hard foam which gives them weight for distance. Float is 2" and good for longer distance. I attach either indicator or float 3-4 ft. above popper and a Raven micro swivel above all to eliminate line twist. Pics. are from today at noon, water was like glass and fish were surfacing. Good time.Name: DSC00107.jpg

If you have no objections to shopping Chinese, search Alibaba.
A vast trove of micro baits.

It works, but this is why fly rods were created. You're missing out.

Bought 2 fiberglass 3 and 4 wt. fly rods and a Lamson Liquid 1.5 reel when Cabela's sold to BP but with things the way they are right now, I have not been able to get it all set up, but hopefully will in the near future.

One of the best topwater Micro lures I use is a snap bean(Knock offs work well). I tie feathered trebles on them and fish them on top mostly w twitches but they work great on the crank too.

I just got these today from Amazon for about $7.

They work great when the big bulls are up shallow.
