10 inch Gills in public waters are hard to come by down here. Congratulations on the catches!
Today was a total blast. I fished differently than yesterday. The cattails extend 12 to 15 feet from the bank in most places around the shore. I used my 9 ft Southern Crappie and my 12 ft BnM to drop trout magnets into the openings of the cattails. Holy cow it barely hit the water and "fish on". In about 2 hours we boated and released an estimated 50 8 1/2 to 10" gills. It made this old man smile and I haven't done that in quite some time.

I have never been a picture taker but I do occasionally. I will try to get some posted from future trips.

Let me clarify please. This body of water is privately owned but anybody and everybody goes there to fish with permission or not. Mostly not. So I guess it is semi-public
