Thread: Tackle Shortages Hit USA

Same problem here in Northern ohio - our local walmarts are picked clean, as is the Fishermans Central in Portage Lakes -- Guy there said they had a 30,000 backorder with their suppliers

Was in Cabelas in Avon the other day - didnt look too bad on lures and bait but there was maybe 3 spinning reels and NONE on the display handles -- only baitcasters

I was at a Bass Pro shops last Friday. Though not bare the shelves were noticeably lacking stock, especially in terminal tackle. Rod selection was getting thin too.
