    Default Multispecies on Beetle Spins

Threw around one of my go to lures on evening, a 1/32 oz chartreuse beetle spin. This was only my second time fishing this lake so I wasn't sure what to expect. On my first trip I saw a couple nice bluegill and redear sunfish, but wasn't able to get them to bite. This time it was a different story. Had a good amount of consistent action all day with some beautifully colored male bluegill.

If you can find them, try the Betts Spin. I like the colors better, the spinner keeps the jig down at the end better, and the plastic and jig head aren't as wide as the beetle spin.

Beetle spins have caught tons of fish.

Betts makes their beetle spin in a 1/50 Ounce model. Throws well on my TSS with 2 lb test.

Don't want to clutter up the board with a new thread so I figured I'd add this video here. Basically the same exact type of fishing on a different lake with much different results.
