    Default ain't no Daiwa jigs!

Tried to stock up on these jigs as I have grown fond of them, but Digitaka and Plat are out of stock. Plat email said they are months out. Y'all bought 'em all, I guess! It's bad enough I can't find Clorox wipes, now my favorite jigs? Dang.

Just kidding! Ya snooze, ya lose, I reckon.

If anyone has any extra packs of 1.5g/#8/black they can sell, send me a PM. I could use 4-5 packs. Or 1.0g/#10/black. TFR

I feel for you. I have enough to get me through late fall. The 1.5 gram has become my sweet spot size and I am going through them.

Well...it looks like Daiwa is no longer producing the jig heads. Of course I don't know this for a fact but when an item no longer shows up on the companies own website it is not a good sign. Hopefully this is not the case.

A while back, I ordered one pack of the 1.5g from amazon prime to try out. And they made a mistake and sent me one case of 10 packs for free Lol. Just looked over there and it's saying currently unavailable now.

The wire on these jigs are easy to bend.

When they are all gone you do what you got do

I’ve found some small jig heads with sickle hooks that work well with TM’s. Hooks are pretty sharp too. I wrap a few turns of wire (used for fly tying) next to the head to hold the plastics on. Works quite well.

When I run out.....which will be a year or so...I went out and did a count......I only have 200 of the 1.5 gram but have 640 of the 1 and 2 gram.......I will use some other brand of JDM salt water light game jig head. I have I think 5 different brands I’ve tried. They are all super sharp......but the Daiwa were the sharpest I’ve ever seen. I’ve already got my eye on some more brands to try once Japanese EMS mail resumes.

    Regards

And my wife thinks I have too many raw jigs!
Just a thought, but perhaps Daiwa is in the process of shifting their jig production away from China, and will resume once relocated.
