    Well had a good mail today. Received my new Diawa Whisker SS 700. I have a 20 year old one that is my favorite UL. I have actually landed 7# steelhead with it. Drag is amazing. New ones are now made in Thailand so I was unsure of the build but from examining it looks as good as the original JDM build.

    Yes that has the foldable handle. I like it so much more than having to unscrew it

    I've got one that is at least 30yrs old. Has been used on Detroit river, for spring walleye .

    It does have an anti reverse. Now I'm hoping the replacement TM TSS that USPS broke arrives today or tomorrow.
