Decided to try a Trout Magnet Trout Slayer Series rod. Well it arrived today but don't think I be doing much fishing with it anytime soon. Have no idea what USPS did to this box and then to actually deliver it in this condition is shocking. '

Jeff is a stand up guy. Here’s the kicker....he pays the insurance on those rods and USPS breaks quite a few. He has never been able to collect on a claim so he just now sends out a new rod. The USPS insurance is just not quite what it is supposed to be. I’ve been on the bad end of that too.

When I called TM were great. When I saw the box I did not open it until I talked to them. Was more then willing to take it to the Post Office so they could be present when I opened it up. Jeff just said go ahead and open it up to confirm the rod was damaged. I sent them plenty of pics to include in the claim. But we all know how that goes.
Anyway looking forward to getting the replacement rod. I have a Diawa Whisker SS700 on the way to put on it.
Oh yikes, my TM rod is two pieces, not 3 Glad to hear they are taking care of it for you, kudos to TM.
Mine arrived today. It had a pretty good bend in the box, but the rod looked okay.
