Big schools of bluegill and bass all around the pond, but can’t get them to hit live bait or lures. Yesterday I was trying to get s few gills out of there for catfish bait this weekend, but only managed to catch 4 small bass.
I also noticed the pond had a kind of sheen on the water. Similar to oil, but without the rainbow colors oil puts off. This pond is spring fed and very secluded. I know the family who owns the property and they assure me I am the only person who fishes it. Any ideas what’s wrong with my pond?
Thanks
