Those are pretty fish. I may go for a little while in the morning, our lakes are falling right in the middle of the Crappie spawn. And Catfish Dave on you tube says it best....You Never Know....Until You Throw
Hit one of my oft visited ponds this evening. Only caught a few. The wind started to blow from the east and rain began to fall. I was in the process of putting up the three rods I was using. Had two in the car. The last one still had a fresh worm on the hook. I figured, what the heck, one last cast. A bite and catch occured almost immediately. Of course, I couldn't quit, despite the rain coming down. The bites came fast and furious for the next 20 minutes or so. Once the storm had moved on, so did the bites. Wound up with 25 when it was all done.
Ya never know.

Nice fish! No, you just never know what can turn on the switch. You forget the rain when a great bite is on.

One of the reasons we keep going, hoping for flurries like that. Always a good time when they hit with abandon. Thanks for sharing with us.

Well put. Even the bass were fired up. Caught this one in the flurry. A fun fight on the 2# line.
