    Default Follow the leader

That's what I did on my lunch break . I just went down to still slightly muddy river and put my float kinda deep on the lightest rod I own . a number 8 1/64 in pink with a crappie nibble in white and just like that ….I ketched sunfish so small I had trouble telling they were on the line
So much like Alphahawk 's last no fish report was my trip I figured it was kinda like follow the leader .
I did have a pretty nice bass on at one point and thought it would make the photo cut ,but as often happens it escaped at the bank
I was fortunate enough to land 8 sunfish ,7 were small bluegill and one was a small longear . the bite was super duper light and pecky and the only fish that sank my float was the bass . it could be worse though , I could have not got to go ketch a fish at all ….
and that's the reality of the world today isn't it .
and then ...here are a few photos to prove I aint making this up ….

outlaw you were ketchn and as we men are always saying size doesn't matter!! LOL. they are still fun. great thing about panfish, when your ketchn with a bobber and light tackle makes you feel like a lil kid again. Fun day.

you know the little bass that was about 1 and a half lbs and was fun as heck , it jumped several times and pulled quite hard , heck at one point I thought I hung me a nice river crappie when the float went down and I sort of set the hook and if you set your drag on extra extra light they all feel big ….

Once again, a real nice day on the water. Congrats. I got some follows yesterday but got skunked. The water and temps are still not right. There is always tomorrow - today is a blowout.

I’ll take those, kinda looks like my trip yesterday too. A few smallLMB made a showing and a Warmouth that would have made his mama proud. It ain’t always about a bucket full of big fish. I think we were both saying KABOOM several hundred mile apart.
