a crappie nibble on the tip of anything makes it all that , we just had that conversation yesterday about this subject and actually watched fish on a livescope swim up to a bare jig and look at it and swim away . put the same jig down with a nibble and watch the fish swim up , look for a second and KABOOM !

Lots of hits (tire kickers) & lost fish (not setting the hook/hits). Couple that with bad retrieves, pulled weeds off the bottom, too fast of a retrieve, wrong retrieve, etc.

Any time a lure can make a bad fireman look good that's saying something. Make no mistake about it was the lure not me.
Building confidence in a lure is very important. You know they work - now it’s working on technique.

Have yet to try the TM baits in any color. Every time I find a display in a Wally or something, the only head left are heavy and there isn’t any of the above mentioned colors. Guess I gotta be there when they put them out. I’ve been carrying the same jar of nibbles for a long time. Guess I’m a hard headed one, if the jig don’t get it, try another jig. My little jigs have been doin right these past few weeks. Have to look on BPS website and order some TM and give them a shot.

Fish USA has them packaged prerigged with several spare bodies, in about 15 different colors.

    I don't see them. Link?

NEVER MIND. They must have just added them.

Walmart tends to carry the "candy" colors: white, pink, chartreuse, orange. I guess those are popular trout colors.

For warm water fish, I think darker colors are better.

Another nice thing is Leland gets all the profit, and I’m sure they can use it. Nice folks to do business with.
