    Default Bustin' Brushpiles

Had a few minutes before sunset to cast around a brush pile (not many where I fish). Some casts close to the pile yielded nothing. I pitched right into the pile. Upon reeling up I thought I was snagged. But no, it was a fish. They were holding tight. Was able to pull several more out before calling it a night.

Nice looking fish. I went a little while this morning early and they were smack dab in the middle of the brush. Water temperatures at 67, you know what they were up to

Caught a gill earlier in the day with a Senko right in a blow down. I should have know they were in there.

The weather was nice. Would have been worth it even if I hadn't caught any!
