    Default JDM for Spider Rigging?

Is there a 14 to 16' rod in the JDM adequate for spider rigging? I am presently using 14' Southern Crappie Rods and they are heavy or seem heavy to me.
    Thanks

Even if there were, what do you think they would cost?

Not really......the cost of shipping a rod that length would be very expensive. It would have to come FedEx or UPS.....they both charge handling fees, and, you would get hit with customs fees.

You might try talking with someone in your area that have some different rods you could handle. I don’t have a lot of upper body strength anymore and I don’t find my southerns heavy, but I do have a set of Denali rods 14 and 16 and they are lighter. I’m sure there may be others out there that are lighter.

Just my opinion, I think that it would be kind of defeating the purpose of the higher tech, lighter materials to put them in a rod holder. I see your desired effect but the cost would be prohibitive I would think.
