Trout magnet TSS Trout Slayer Action Question

Hi all. For those members that have had a chance to fish both the TSS and JDM rods, what JDM type would you say comes the closest to the Trout Slayer? Area, Native Stream, or ? I’m trying to get some frame of reference for down the road. I primarily fish a slow moving, low gradient warm water creek. This year in addition I may try and hit some small trout/pan streams in the Lehigh Valley.

Bob - last year I did a quick demonstration with some of the JDM rods I have and the Lelands TSS rod. The bending curve was was half way between the Tict rockin finess and the Major Craft triple cross. I don’t have any of the area or native trout style rods, but I’m guessing their bending curves would be even more pronounced than any of the ones that I tested. I’m sure someone else who has a wider assortment than I can give a little more info. Name: IMG_0254.JPG

Hard to say. It is not realy like any of them. Certainly not an ajing or mebaru. It might be somewhere close to an area trout rod....but not quiet. I don't have any native trout rods..and probably never will own any....but they are much softer.

Thanks for the replies. I think this is just something to do some more research on and just fish the TSS under more types of water conditions. My finesse rod is well set with the little Luna. Really looking forward to fishing that one!
