Default I just had to do it!!

I have bad eyes and at my age, can not see the small diameter lines- IE- 2 & 3# mono. I have gone to Braided line and boy o boy, am I happy. I can see the line and tie knots. If you do this, get the best line, you can or justify. I use the Sun Line PE line. You will not be unhappy. YOUR feelings please.

Been wanting to try the Sunline PE, the Small Game pink line for a long time. The yellow Unitaka is pretty good, and actually cheaper than the US braids, just have to pay more to get it here. If the Sunline is better, which I have read it is pretty good stuff, I think you have made a good choice. Can’t wait to see the pics!

Not sure which Sunline PE you bought but they make a good line no doubt. If it is the Small Game PE-HG you got some great line.

I just wish the 2 and 3 lb size in it wasn’t so expensive. It is expensive at 5 and 6 lb test but not near as bad... I’ll probably get some at some point still yet. Let us know how it does for you!

You go Tryp. I’ll look into some of the line y’all speak of, but right now I have enough stuff to try and if the fish don’t start cooperating it’s all for nuttin!! I’ll keep y’all posted.

On another note, and not to hijack, I have 2 spools of 1lb Nanofil in the shop. Not sure I’m that brave, but I’ll get a thread started if and when I do.

This Sunline PE-HG is about 60 bucks a spool.....it’s a good thing it will last for years.....LOL. It will take me a while to get back comfortable using braid again...then may try the Sunline. Skeet.....A couple of my first YouTube channel videos were made with 1# test NanoFil that had been on my shelf for 9 years. Caught a lot of good shell crackers with it. I used to use it a lot. There are a couple of videos where some decent sized largemouth were landed with it. I never tested the break strength of it but believe me it is way above 1#.

    Regards
