    I even posted a thread to try and get a response, only for it to be moved where the parties I was trying to get a response out of wouldn’t see it. Now I’m just gonna come out with it. I haven’t heard beans from Ledhed, Prankster, or any of the other folks from California that are usually a presence here on the panfish forum. The fires were bad in the Bakersfield area, and I’m concerned about them. If any of you guys are cruising through the forums and know anything, please let us know that all is well or whatever. My OCD is driving me nuts. Thanks for bearing with me in this.....Skeet.

    I'm new to the forum but I live in Bakersfield. I don't know what bad fires you're referring to? Most of the recent fires were farther south over the grapevine in the Santa Clarita and more towards the coast in Simi Valley and Ventura area.

    Thanks Papa, that helps. What the media had said mentioned Bakersfield as being in the middle of it all, and we don’t hear anything about it now.
